The practice of yoga has enabled me to be my best self and I feel so blessed to have this gift to share with others so they too can feel that same joy.
Kali began her yoga practice in 2005 during her stressful surgical residency. Yoga has remained a mainstay in her life to keep her balanced. She is an E-RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance and a Reiki Master practitioner certification from the acclaimed Yandara Yoga Institute in Bali, Indonesia. Kali's also a comprehensive Power Pilates certified instructor.
With a strong background in medicine and fitness, Kali's yoga classes have an emphasis on optimal body alignment, flexibility, and core strengthening. She believes in challenging her students in a way that will help them realize just what wonderful things they are truly capable of achieving. As a former dancer, her flow tends to be creative and paired with uplifting music. During savasana (resting pose) you may be treated to some relaxing Reiki healing energy that will help you leave her class with a sense of empowerment and calm.

Kali will now be offering private online yoga sessions. The pandemic has allowed us to re-evaluate our priorities such as the importance of our health and wellness. This is a great time to either start or continue a practice of yoga and meditation. Whether you are looking to start your yoga journey or you have been practicing for many years, a private session with Kali will be tailored just for your needs. You can choose from different types of yoga including beginner, vinyasa, power, yin, breath work, and meditation. All sessions will be held via Zoom. A 60 minute session is $40. About this Event
Join Atlanta Social Yoga and SweetWater Brewery for our next yoga event. On July 9th we will host a 50 minute, all levels vinyasa flow. This session will be hosted indoors in the extra large Reel Room for the safest space for our community to enjoy a HipHop yoga class. Temperature checks will be conducted at the door. Masks are required and COVID questionnaires will need to be completed. Get your "quaranteam" together, get your tickets, and come out to some yoga. After class, your crew can sit at the purposefully designed seating areas to allow socialization within your own group while having your complimentary beer and food (food at additional cost). Build up heat through aerobic movements that tone the muscles and balance the body. Get your heart pumping in this cardio-based sequence that targets the glutes, thighs, and more! Yep, it’s leg day. This is the perfect mid day burn to keep you invigorated for the rest of your day.
Mat Pilates
This class consists of a 50 minute Pilates mat exercise focusing on strengthening the core, back, glute, leg muscles. Enjoy the added benefit of Pilates core strengthening exercises to gain more stability and endurance. You will finish class feeling strong and elongated.

Reiki is translated to mean "universal life energy".
It is an ancient Japanese method of healing that uses energy to balance the body and mind,
and its benefits can be felt by both Reiki practitioners and their clients.
Reiki is believed to improve physical health, mental clarity, and emotional well-being by reducing stress.
Reiki is beneficial for people of all ages and pets. In a session, a practitioner will send the healing energy to the client
by placing their hands above or gently on the client to activate the natural self-healing process
to induce a state of deep relaxation and calm. Reiki has many other benefits including improving spiritual growth
to deepen interpersonal relationships, assistance during times of grief, physical pain chronic and/or acute, quickens recovery from surgery and aids in symptoms from chemotherapy, and mental illness.
